A team of our great tireless colleagues from FTOP VŠCHT Prague educated and entertained visitors to the Rock for People festival. They devoted themselves to all the wonderful arrivals and answered sometimes less and sometimes more tricky questions.
As part of FTOP's participation in the festival, Professor Vladimír Kočí also spoke in the panel "Circular Economy and LCA". The participants learned about the basic principles of the circular economy and the life cycle assessment method, as well as what to watch out for in so-called greenwashing and what are the prospects for our company in terms of sustainability in the future.
Athens 2021
In the third week of November, we welcomed the students of the ATHENS international study program. They came to the Faculty of Environmental Protection Technology for the Environmental Technology course. Its contents included excursions to the Prague wastewater treatment plant, the construction of bioreactors, and the LCA program - life cycle assessment.
ATHENS offers studies at fourteen important European technical universities to our students as well. You can go for a week to, for example, Trondheim in Norway or Delft in the Netherlands.
After last year, when the night of scientists took place only virtually, on Friday, September 24, 2021, at 5:00 p.m., we returned to the corridors, classrooms and laboratories of VŠCHT Prague in Dejvice.
