Successful PhD defense

Another successful defense took place in the Department of Water Technology and Environmental Engineering on May 14, 2025.

Christina Karmann (born Bachmanová) defended her dissertation, "The use of anammox bacteria as a source of specific membrane phospholipids," under the supervision of Prof. Jan Bartáček and Dr. Vojtěch Kouba. Prof. David Weissbrodt and Prof. Kateřina Demnerová opposed the thesis, and Prof. Pavel Jeníček headed the committee.
