Environmental Analytical Chemistry

Bachelor Study Sub-programme, Faculty of Environmental Technology


To know the quality of the environment in which we live, analytical chemistry and the data it provies shall be used. We use precise and preferably fast chemical and physico-chemical methods to obtain the background for assessing the state of the environment and subsequently for taking further steps.


Graduates are prepared to practice in their specialized field as well as in a wide range of other fields. The three-year Bachelor degree programme „Environmental Analytical Chemistry“ allows its graduates to practice or to apply for postgraduate studies in all technical chemistry programmes and programmes related to the study of analytics, chemistry and environmental technology. General, elementary subjects make it easier for students to understand specialised subjects of their sub-progmramme Graduates can work not only in laboratories, but also in state administration and with local authorities, in industrial and agricultural enterprises, research and development organizations, rescue services, project organizations, customs and transport companies, and at media positions related to solving environmental problems.
